What a fantastic experience at Envi SkyDining! From start to finish the ambiance was stylish and relaxed, with sweeping panoramic views of the city and the iconic Petronas Twin Towers right in the background — truly unforgettable. The food and drinks held up beautifully: fresh flavours, artistic presentation, and more than just a meal — it was an experience. The staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and going the extra mile (even helping with photo-moments!). They made the evening feel special. Highly recommended for a treat, a celebration, or just a memorable night out in Kuala Lumpur.

I’ve been coming here for lunch on and off for quite some time, and it’s consistently a pleasant experience. The environment is comfortable and not too noisy, which makes it easy to sit down, talk, and actually enjoy the meal. Brought my team here recently for a lunch treat and it turned out to be a good choice. Food came out fresh, service was reasonably quick even during peak hours, and the overall vibe is relaxed without feeling messy or crowded. A reliable spot for team lunches or a casual break from work. Still one of the nicer places in the area to unwind a bit in the middle of a busy day.

Had lunch here and the experience was quite pleasant. The food was okay — nothing too fancy, but decent for the price. The real highlight was the nice view, which made the meal feel more relaxing. Service was also good; the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a reasonable place for a casual meal with a nice atmosphere. Would come again for the view and service.

Envi Skydining offers excellent views, good food, fair prices, and polite service once seated. Getting there is a hassle, the greeting at the host stand could be far warmer, and the elevator situation is questionable. Still, the butter chicken, fish and chips, and iced teas made for a satisfying meal—just avoid the coleslaw. Rating: 4/5 – A worthwhile KL dining experience with standout scenery. Full Review: Envi Skydining – A Scenic, Satisfying Experience… After You Get In Envi Skydining is one of those Kuala Lumpur dining spots that rewards patience. It’s good—pleasant, flavorful, scenic—but it makes you work a little to get there. Let’s begin with the rough patches before we ascend to the good parts. The Approach: A Small Quest Before Dinner Reaching the restaurant was, frankly, a minor expedition. First, you speak with a guard. Then you get buzzed past a security gate. Then you take an elevator to reach another elevator—one that felt rickety enough to make everyone exchange a glance. For a place with “Sky” in the name, it delivers, but not necessarily in the way you expect. Once you arrive, the first face you meet matters—and unfortunately, the hostess seemed bored, disengaged, and lukewarm at best. No warmth, no welcome, just a perfunctory gesture toward our table. Thankfully, this was where the negatives generally tapered off. Service & Food: Smooth Sailing From Here Our server was polite, attentive enough, and ensured that dishes arrived in a timely manner. The pacing was surprisingly efficient for a sky-high restaurant with a view that often encourages loitering. The food itself was good, portioned modestly but priced fairly. My butter chicken was tasty—though note that Malaysian/SEA butter chicken tends to lean toward “chicken with gravy” rather than the creamier, richer, spicier styles seen in Britain or the U.S. Still flavorful, still enjoyable, just a different execution. The fish and chips were nicely done, crispy and well-seasoned—nothing groundbreaking, but certainly solid. The iced teas were refreshing, especially given the balcony’s breezy vantage point. As for the coleslaw, let’s just say Malaysia and coleslaw have never quite agreed. The texture, sweetness level, and overall profile miss the mark, and Envi Skydining unfortunately continues that trend. Skip it. The Balcony: The True Star of the Experience Once outside, the restaurant’s value sharpens. The view is stunning—a sweeping stretch of KL that pairs beautifully with good conversation and better food. It’s a place where you linger a bit longer than intended. Final Verdict Envi Skydining isn’t perfect, and the approach—both literal and customer-service-wise—could use refinement. But the combination of good food, fair pricing, polite table service, and an undeniably excellent view earns it a strong recommendation. Rating: 4/5. A memorable, scenic meal that rises above its entryway shortcomings.

Verdict: I will revisit this restaurant. The price of lunch sets are reasonable. Foods: I would recommend their Western dishes, as their local and Asian cuisine may not be their strongest suit. Environment: + The establishment offers a pleasant dining experience with a view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. + The temperature can become slightly warm in the afternoon, but it is generally quite tolerable. Service: The staff members were friendly and readily available to assist.
